Solid NFL Fantasy Draft Picks

While there are obvious fantasy draft picks each year in the NFL, there also exists the sleeper picks that are not as easy to predict. These can give you a lot of points without busting your salary cap. A few picks that I recommend for your fantasy are:

Brock Osweiler

With an offense that is ready to go to work next season, Texans Quarterback Brock Osweiler, has all the tools he needs to have a championship caliber team. With WR DeAndre Hopkins and RB Lamar Miller in the backfield, Osweiler needs to let the offense work for him. He should also have many opportunities to do so as his defense should continue to make stops, keeping their offense on the field.

David Johnson

Arizona Cardinals running back, David Johnson, is another rising star to watch for. His performance late last season clearly showed what he is capable of. He also exploited his great catch and run ability this past season, leading him to play a key role in the Cardinals’ offense. With much of Arizona’s success this season relying on Johnson’s performance, he should be a solid pick up in fantasy leagues.

Tyler Eifert

The Tight End position can be a hit or miss in most weeks of fantasy football, making it important to have a tight end that plays a key role in the offense. This past season, Cincinnati’s TE Tyler Eifert, did just that as he had 52 receptions for 615 yards and 13 touchdowns. His success on the field kept the Cincinnati offense in rhythm, proving them hard to stop on the offensive side. Expect more from this TE going into this season.

Tyrod Taylor

Another quarterback set to have much success this season is Buffalo’s Tyrod Taylor. After signing a contract extension, Taylor comes back with the Bills with his usual offensive weapons. With WR Sammy Watkins, RB LeSean McCoy, and TE Charles Clay, Taylor should have no problem getting into an offensive rhythm that may be hard to stop this season. His ability to maneuver out of the pocket, and gain yards on the ground also, make him a threat at his position. Taylor is a must have in your lineup this season.

Brandon Cooks

After struggling much of last season on both sides of the ball, the New Orleans Saints look to have a bounce back season this year. However, Quarterback Drew Brees’ stats would show something different as he passed for over 4800 yards with 32 touchdowns last season, proving that he is still capable of hitting his receivers. WR Brandon Cooks is showing that he can be a leader on this offense, as he had 84 receptions for over 1100 yards. Look for Brandon Cooks to make the next step in becoming a team leader as he should continue to have success this season.
